Mountaineering
With this "rock
and ice" park's highest concentration of peaks over 14,500 feet in North
America and its 5.5 million glaciated acres, the adventures of challenging
mountaineering possibilities are endless. McCarthy Air is a year-round
flight service with the skill, knowledge and capabilities to fly you to the
mountaineering destination of your choice. Our planes are equipped to
land in tight spots at high elevations on rock, snow or glaciers.

McCarthy Air can
accommodate up to seven passengers and their gear for most flights.
Destinations such as the Bagley Icefield, 19,580 foot Mt. Logan, 16, 390 foot
Mt. Blackburn and 16, 421 foot Mt. Bona are only a few of the countless peaks
in this park, which consists of a large majority of unnamed, unclimbed
peaks. We can provide access to even the most secluded backcountry
