Doubtful Creek
and
Nizina Glacier

Two hikers say farewell to the plane as they begin their trip at Doubtful Creek.
From Doubtful Creek you can gaze in awe at one of many unnamed snow-covered peaks in the area.
A hike high above the Nizina Glacier offers sweeping views of glaciated, mountain covered and green lands.
*Doubtful Creek: After an exciting
landing alongside the Nizina Glacier you may step out of the plane to explore
the surrounding rocky terrain or head toward the glacier Either way, you are
surrounded by the crisp, fresh waters of the area--from rushing creeks to
icy-blue pools. You may opt to hike further into the high country by following a
creek bed up to explore more mountainous terrain. You may choose to self-tailor
a trip to be picked up at a nearby landing area, possibly hiking to the Rohn
Glacier or exploring the area from Doubtful Creek to Skolai Pass such as the “Hole-in-the-Wall”
glacier. The Doubtful Creek area offers a many opportunities for day-hikes
via base camp or backpacking trips. Doubtful Cr. RT: $240 Nizina Glacier RT: $240
